In 2005, two highly-trained and forward-thinking family physicians,
the husband-and-wife team of the Drs. Qamar, decided to open a unique
medical practice in Monterey with one simple goal: that every one
of their patients would receive the same caring, time, and devotion
as in times past, free from the restrictions of managed care.
In today’s healthcare arena, we at Q feel that the warmth of
traditional patient care is being lost. Physicians struggle to manage
immense patient loads, preferred appointments become scarce, wait
times are unbearable, and actual time spent with the doctor is undoubtedly
